Poichè avevo posto la stessa domanda anche sul forum della IBM, vi riporto la risposta che mi hanno dato ieri:
"Traveler (by design) does not push read/unread changes until some other type of change (add, update, delete, etc.). Thus, until it syncs (such as manual sync (sync now) or because there is other data that is pushed), the read/unread will not be updated. This is done to reduce the number of syncs the device does, so that is why read/unread is not pushed if that is the only change - it is just kept until later; thus, the read/unread isn\'t lost - it is just saved until a sync is really needed."
quindi questo mi fa capire che il mio sistema sta funzionando correttamente. Proverò comunque con alcuni dispositivi Nokia e Apple e Windows Mobile per verificare quale sia il miglior dispositivo che si interfaccia con Traveler. Per ora grazie.
