Questo è quanto riportato sulla knowledge base Lotus: non so se è il tuo caso. Title: Error: \'Database has grown too large; Use File New Replica..\' when opening local database Product: Lotus Notes > Lotus Notes > Versions 7.0, 6.5, 5.0, 4.6, 4.5 Platform(s): Mac OS, Windows Date: 23/11/2006 Doc Number: 1102305 Abstract You attempt to open a database locally using a Lotus Notes Client, but this error appears: "Database has grown too large; use File New Replica to recreate your file with larger capacity." Content This error can occur if a database has reached its size limit. Running Compact with no switches will update the database to the current On Disk Structure (ODS) where the size limits are a minimum of 64 gigabytes. Note: Compacting may not update the ODS in cases where an ODS-specific file extension was used for the database. For more information refer to the document, "Databases Created with an ODS-specific extension are not upgraded by Compact task" (#1086780). Note: If the database is on a Notes R4 server then run "compact -m" to increase the size limit to 4 gigabytes. For Notes 4.x databases, the ODS is 20. For Notes 5.x databases, the ODS is 41. For Notes 6.x and 7.x databases, the ODS is 43. Supporting Information: You may see this error if attempting to open a R4 database close to 1 Gigabyte. In one case, the database was a local R4 archive database of 978 MB, residing on a Notes R5 Client.
